In my humble opinion this is one of the best sceneries that I have ever purchased for my flight sim 2004. For now, this leaves FSX:SE and P3D users wanting. I think this was a huge oversight.

The busiest airport in Germany, Frankfurt Airport, is now available for FSX and Prepar3D V3. Thank you aerosoft for onece making me happy!! Solid effort by Aerosoft on a large and complex airport. Everything is updated to current status and I feel immersed when taxying to the gate, at least in the daytime. I run this on my latest update of P3DV3. Performance is absolutely fine, I get 25-35fps nice and smooth on approach and taxi with lots of AI traffic in my Aerosoft A319. WAS is no issue for me in P3D. Very good for such a huge airport on my average rig. Basically an issue with the simulator having trouble with AI traffic on different elevations, so no real issue for me but might be good to know. Only thing I really miss is the lack of dynamic AES lite traffic on the apron and trains for the P3D version, since that is only supported for FSX. P3D native traffic makes up for some of it though. Night textures on buildings are quite bright by default and there is not enough contrast between dark spots and lighted areas on the apron and gate areas. A nuisance since that is not very realistic. Partly this can be corrected by the P3D lighting options though. And of course this is a problem that I have seen with most add-ons, so not unique to EDDF. However: This EDDF v2. Thanks Aerosoft for a well functioning major hub in Germany! Picked up the new EDDF a few days ago, flew into the airport four times since then, on all occasions with the A2A Cessna 182, and all the time I ended up running out of memory. I have been using P3D v3. All non-used scenery were de-activated. In short, I found the new EDDF to be very much VAS-hungry. My settings are pretty much high but I have no issues at other massive airports so there is room for improvement on the VAS side. FPS is however good and the airport itself does look great, no complaints about that. Textures are sharp and crisp, night lighting is very realistic too. Unfortunately, being such a VAS-eater beast, I cannot recommend it, at least not to those who want to keep their high settings. Maybe it performs somewhat better with sliders more off to the left but I don't want to give up the visuals - so Frankfurt, as it is in its current state, is a no-fly zone for me. The textures are improved pretty significantly on the terminal. The performance for my rig is approximately a 40% improvement over the previous version. I would still say performance is not on par with Fly Tampa, T2G, FSDT or Flightbeam. Since this is the only Frankfurt you can buy you'll have to buy it. I think this was a huge oversight. Great scenery and i must admit i have flown in real life to frankfurt before and for them to be able to depict and also optimize performance for such a heavily dense airport almost like heathrow interms of the city and the airport and with my medium pc of 3570k and still with a triple 7 get between 25 to 35 inside the cockpit i am amazed and give you 5 stars even though on my final approach for runway 25r it seems the ILS frequency didn't work but still if there was a 7 or 10 stars i will give.
This is why you would use the Configuration Tool: notice the summer textures on the bridge, while everything else is in winter. El effort by Aerosoft on a large and complex airport. MA Frankfurt V2 comes with a set of terrain textures that extend quite a bit outwards from the airport. Personally, I also ran into some memory problems at first when using Frankfurt. Textures are sharp and crisp, night lighting is very civil too. Thanks Aerosoft for a well functioning major hub in Germany!.
